ABOUT RAGE


Visit one of our axe throwing playgrounds in Montreal or on the South Shore for a unique experience in a casual urban atmosphere. Several axe types and professional instructors make Rage the best place to awaken your inner warrior. The size of the group doesn't matter, whether it is a date or team-building, everyone can learn the basics of axe throwing.

Each of our locations can accommodate up to 60 people for every possible event from bachelor parties to divorce celebrations.

The main objective is to develop patience, concentration and precision through the techniques of this incredible experience.

AGE
There is NO age restriction! However, children under 17 must be accompanied by an adult.
CLOSED TOED SHOES
Every participant has to wear shoes that cover up toes, without any heels or platform.

We do not serve or allow any alcoholic beverages within our facilities.

In addition to our regular services we offer external axe throwing experience. We install targets right on the ground, secure the area around, and teach you how to throw. The installation includes a temporary structure with safety nets around the targets. It can be mounted on any terrain, indoors or open air.

Want to step up your axe throwing game? Our leagues are a perfect opportunity to learn new techniques, master your skills and get a chance to become the axe throwing champion of Montreal. You don't have to be a PRO to become a League member. The only things you need are passion for axe throwing and determination!

Have a question or uncertain about something? We hope you will find the answer below.
Is it safe?
Axe throwing is as safe as any other sport or entertainment activity of similar genre. When everyone respects the rules and safety measures, there is no chance of injury.
Is there a minimum age to throw an axe?
There is no age restriction to participate in the activity! However, children under 17 must be accompanied by an adult.
Is there a dress code?
We suggest that you wear comfortable clothing. Please note that every participant has to wear shoes that cover up toes, without any heels or platform.
How much does it cost?
$40 per target for one hour from Monday to Thursday, $50 on Friday and Sunday, $55 on Saturday. Maximum of 3 people per target.

Please note that there is a mandatory 10-15 minutes training if you come for the first time.
Is alcohol allowed?
We do not serve or allow to bring any alcoholic beverages within our facilities.
Will there be any kind of training?
Our experts will show you the basics of axe throwing and be with you for the first couple of rounds to help with the technique.
What equipment do you provide?
We provide axes and targets. There is also a table per section where you can store your personal belongings and writing down the scores using the scoreboards (also provided).
What is a minimum and a maximum number of participants?
We can host groups up to 60 people as private events. Groups from 1 to 18 participants can reserve online, 3 participants per lane max.
Is it possible to rent the whole space?
Yes, it is possible to rent the whole space for a private team building event. Please, visit our Team Building page for more information.
Can we bring food with us?
You are more than welcome to bring snacks. However, we do not provide any type of utensils. Also, there is a possibility to order catering and bring your drinks when you reserve the whole space, please visit this page for more information about private events.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit cards, debit cards and cash.
Is there a cancellation policy?
Let us know asap if you cannot come by sending us an email to axe@ragemontreal.com or by calling us at (514) 303-7243 (during our work hours). To get a prepaid reservation refund, it must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. For a private event refund, it must be cancelled at least 10 business days in advance.
Do you sell gift certificates?
Yes, gift certificates for axe throwing experience are available online and in-store. Visit our online shop to purchase a gift card.
Can I bring my own axe?
Yes, if it is a NATF competition axe or one handed axe from Ajax Crafting. Axes must be inspected by trainer before use.
Can people come to watch?
Your friends and family can come and cheer. However, if we see any misbehavior or disregard for safety measures, they will be asked to leave.
Can we take photos/videos?
Of course! We encourage to share your best moments at Rage.
